Spinach – we used frozen spinach for this recipe, this recipe can work great with fresh spinach as well. Make sure you squeeze out any access water from the frozen spinach after thawing the spinach in room temperature.
Artichoke – use canned artichoke or marinated artichoke.
Cream cheese – use your favorite brand of cream cheese.
Sour cream – use your favorite brand of sour cream.
Mayonnaise – to add creaminess and flavor.
Butter – melt the butter in the microwave.
Parmesan – use freshly grated parmesan cheese.
Mozzarella – use grated mozzarella cheese.
Garlic – use fresh garlic for this recipe.
Dried basil – for flavor.
Black pepper – for flavor.
Kosher salt – we used kosher salt for this recipe, sea salt will work great as well.

2. In a big mixing bowl, add the spinach, cream cheese, sour cream, mayonnaise, melted butter, grated parmesan, and the grated mozzarella.
3. Add minced garlic, dried basil, black pepper, and kosher salt.
4. Mix well until the mixture is creamy and well combined.
5. Chop the artichoke into small pieces and add them to the mixture.
6. Transfer the mixture into a baking dish, spread it evenly.
7. Top the mixture with grated mozzarella cheese (optional).
8. Bake in a preheated oven at 180c (350f) for 25-30 minutes, or until the top is golden brown and bubbly.
