Almond Flour Chocolate Cake

This one bowl almond flour chocolate cake has a moist and rich texture and is topped with a silky smooth chocolate ganache.

In a large mixing bowl, add the almond flour, cocoa powder, espresso powder, baking soda, and kosher salt.

And mix with a whisk until well combined.

Add the eggs, vanilla extract, honey, or maple syrup.

And mix until the mixture is smooth and well combined.

Pour the batter into the prepared baking pan and bake the cake in a 180c (350f) preheated oven for about 30-40 minutes.

Allow the cake to cool to room temperature for at least an hour to prevent the frosting from sliding off the cake.

Pour the chocolate ganache on the cooled cake, and smooth it out using a spatula or a spoon.
