Pasta Chips (Air Fryer Or Oven)

Rich and delish
Pasta chips are made with cooked pasta tossed in parmesan cheese, olive oil, Italian spices, baked or air fried until crispy, and dipped in marinara sauce.

Ingredients
 
 

  • 8 oz Cooked pasta
  • 3 tablespoon Olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon Garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon Oregano
  • ½ teaspoon Salt
  • ¼ teaspoon Black pepper
  • 4 tablespoon Parmesan cheese

Instructions
 

  • Preheat the oven to 180c (350f) and prep a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  • Cook the pasta to al dente in salted water according to the package instructions.
  • Toss the cooked pasta in a big mixing bowl and add the parmesan, garlic powder, salt and pepper, and olive oil, and mix with a spoon until combined.
  • Spread the pasta on a parchment paper-lined baking sheet and bake in a preheated oven for about 20 minutes or until the pasta chips are golden brown and crispy.
  • Serve the pasta chips with your favorite sauce, we used marinara sauce.

Air fryer method

  • If you’re making pasta chips in the air fryer, it will be quicker.
  • Make the pasta mixture as written in the instructions, then transfer the pasta into an air fryer, and cook it for 8-10 minutes at 200c (400f) or until golden brown and crispy.

Notes

  • Make the pasta in salted water. this will make sure that the pasta flavor isn’t flat. add a generous amount of salt to the boiling water.
  • Cook the pasta to al dente. to stop the pasta from turning soggy from the juices, cook the pasta al dente. this step will keep your pasta salad fresh and delicious.
  • Use fresh ingredients! this pasta recipe is the perfect vegetarian snack for any occasion!
  • If you are using an air fryer, cook them in batches to give them enough space to be extra crispy.
