Homemade Almond Butter

Homemade almond butter is a healthier tastier and cheaper way to consume almond butter. The best part of this recipe is that you will only need one ingredient, almonds!

Ingredients
 
 

  • 3 cups Almonds

Instructions
 

  • Preheat an oven to 180c (350f) and prep a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  • Spread the almonds evenly over the baking sheet and bake for 10 minutes stirring halfway through.
  • Let the almonds cool to room temperature for at least 10 minutes.
  • Transfer the almonds to a blender or a food processor, secure the lid and start blending at high speed.
  • If you’re using a blender, Insert the tamper through the lid and push down the almonds until you get a smooth consistency.
  • If you’re using a food processor, secure the lid then let it process for 5 minutes.
  • Scrape down the sides and continue to process until you get the right consistency, be patient!
  • If you want a creamier almond butter, the process for longer until you get the right texture.
  • When the almond butter is ready, let it cool for 10-15 minutes and transfer it into a jar, place it in the fridge for up to 3 weeks.
