Soft, fluffy, and incredibly easy to make 3 ingredient naan flatbread is surprisingly delicious and life-changing. I made this no yeast naan recipe about a year ago and totally forgot about it. I made it again and OMG! This is so fluffy and comes together in under 30 minutes!
In a medium mixing bowl, add the flour, yogurt, and baking powder. Add the salt (optional) and mix with a wooden spoon.
Transfer the dough to a floured surface and knead the dough for a few minutes until a soft dough forms.
Roll the dough and divide it into 5 equal pieces. Shape each dough piece into a ball.
Use flour to prevent the dough from sticking and roll each dough piece into a flat circle.
Heat up a pan to medium-high heat for 3 minutes. When hot, place the dough and let it cook for each side for about 2-3 minutes, or until the dough gets dark brown spots and bubbles form. Serve hot with melted butter and parsley on top.
Notes
If your dough is too dry, feel free to add more yogurt until you get the right consistency. The climate where you live can affect your dough.
Add your favorite herbs to the dough like chopped parsley, chopped cilantro, chopped green onions, etc.
If your dough is too sticky, add more flour until it's workable.
