Rosh Hashanah Honey Cake

This honey cake has an insanely tender crumb and is topped with a drizzle of honey glaze and is served for every Rosh Hashanah!

Ingredients

Flour Vegetable oil Vanilla extract Honey Granulated sugar Baking powder Baking soda Kosher salt Black tea Eggs Cinnamon Nutmeg

In a large mixing bowl, add the eggs, sugar, oil, vanilla extract, and honey.

Mix until well conbined.

Add the hot tea to the wet mixture and mix until combined.

In a separate bowl, add the dry ingredients: flour, baking powder, baking soda, salt, cinnamon, and nutmeg.

Mix with a whisk until combined.

Pour the batter into a parchment paper-lined loaf pan and bake in a 160c (320f) preheated oven

Drizzle honey on top of the cake right when it comes out of the oven.
