Ingredients

  • 2 packs Frozen acai
  • 2 Bananas frozen
  • 1 cup Blueberries frozen
  • 1 cup Mangoes frozen
  • 1 cup Almond milk or any of your favorite milk

Toppings

  • Granola
  • Peanut butter
  • Sliced bananas
  • Strawberries
  • Blueberries
  • Chia seeds
  • Shredded coconut

Instructions

  • Gather all of your ingredients, so that when the acai is ready, you will eat it immediately and stop it from melting.
  • You will need frozen Acai puree, frozen mixed berries, banana, almond milk (or any preferred liquid), and toppings such as granola, fresh fruits, nuts, seeds, or coconut flakes.
  • Into a Vitamix or a high-speed blender (or a strong food processor) add the frozen Acai packs, frozen bananas, frozen blueberries, frozen mangoes, and almond milk.
  • Start to blend, stop, and scrape occasionally with a rubber spatula until achieving the perfect consistency.

Assembly

  • Pour the blended Acai mixture into a coconut bowl and top it with your favorite toppings you prepared ahead of time (fresh banana, fresh strawberries, peanut butter, dried goji berry, chia seeds…).
  • Serve immediately and enjoy a cold, healthy, and delicious breakfast, snack, or dessert!

Notes

  • Use frozen fruit. Frozen fruit helps give your acai bowl that thick and creamy texture. Frozen berries like strawberries, blueberries, and bananas work well in combination with acai.
  • Use ripe frozen bananas! Its best freezing your ripe bananas that are about to go bad and then adding them to your acai bowl and smoothies. They are sweeter, and give a creamy texture.
  • Use a high power blender! To achieve the most creamy and delicious ice cream like texture, it is important to use a high power blender with a tamper stick for the best results.
  • Add liquid gradually. To achieve the right consistency for your acai bowl, add liquid gradually. Start with a small amount of liquid such as almond milk or coconut water and gradually add more as needed while blending to achieve the best thick and ice cream like acai.
  • Acai bowls are naturally sweet from the fruits used in them, but if you prefer a sweeter taste, consider adding natural sweeteners like honeymaple syrup, or agave nectar.
  • Blend well! To get that smooth and creamy texture for your acai bowl, blend all the ingredients thoroughly until no lumps remain. You want a consistency that is thick enough to eat with a spoon like ice cream.
  • Experiment with toppings! Get creative with your toppings! Add fresh fruits, nuts, seeds, granola, coconut flakes, chia seeds or cacao nibs to enhance both the flavor and texture of your acai bowl.
  • Serve the acai bowl immediately! Acai bowls are best enjoyed fresh right after making them to preserve their flavors and textures.
  • Customize it to your taste. Don't be afraid to experiment with different combinations of fruits and toppings to create a delicious acai bowl that suits your personal preferences.
