This air fryer garlic bread is crispy and flavorful and comes together in 10 minutes! It is made with french bread and a delicious mix of butter, garlic, fresh herbs, parmesan, and dried herbs.
Cut french bread or a baguette diagonally into ½-inch thick slices. Lay the slices on a parchment paper lined baking sheet and set aside while you make the garlic herb butter.
Into a small mixing bowl, add the softened butter, minced garlic, chopped parsley, dried oregano, chili flakes, grated parmesan kosher salt, and black pepper and mix until well combined.
Generously spread the butter mixture on the sliced bread slices.
Place the garlic bread in the basket of the air fryer in an even layer (make a few batches if your air fryer is smaller), and cook for 3-5 minutes in a 200c (400f) air fryer. If you like your bread crispier, cook it for another 2-3 minutes.
Notes
Feel free to adjust the cooking time to make the bread as crispy as you like your garlic bread. For softer garlic bread, bake for 3-4 minutes, for crispy garlic bread, bake for 5-8 minutes.
I highly suggest not overcrowding the air fryer basket, cook it in batches to make them cook properly.
Make sure that your butter is at room temperature. An hour or two before making this, take the butter out of the fridge and let it come to room temperature. The butter should be soft to the touch. If your butter is too cold, it will be harder to mix and there will be lumps of butter in the mixture.
If you like cheesy garlic bread, feel free to add shredded mozzarella, cheddar cheese, or add extra parmesan!
