Flour- for this recipe, we used all-purpose flour, bread flour will work great as well.
Yogurt- the second ingredient in this recipe is yogurt. Any kind of unsweetened yogurt will work great. We used basic Greek yogurt.
Baking powder- to help the flatbread rise, we used baking powder, and that's it! No yeast and such easy ingredients.
Salt- adding salt is optional, but we definitely suggest adding salt to this recipe. We used kosher salt.
Melted butter- brushing the bread with melted butter is another suggestion that is optional.
Parsley- we like to top the bread with fresh parsley, this step is optional.
Instructions
In a medium mixing bowl, add the flour, yogurt, and baking powder. Add the salt (optional) and mix with a wooden spoon.
Transfer the dough to a floured surface and knead the dough for a few minutes until a soft dough forms.
Roll the dough and divide it into 5 equal pieces. Shape each dough piece into a ball.
Use flour to prevent the dough from sticking and roll each dough piece into a flat circle.
Heat up a pan to medium-high heat for 3 minutes. When hot, place the dough and let it cook for each side for about 2-3 minutes, or until the dough gets dark brown spots and bubbles form. Serve hot with melted butter and parsley on top.

I feel like I have made this recipe once before and me and my family really enjoyed it. My only question is if the olive oil (or melted butter) is used for cooking them or for after since you wrote melted butter as something to use with it when it's done cooking

RichandDelish

I made the dough, cooked one and threw the dough back in the bowl and added yeast and more flour. While these are easy and quick to make, once you have made them with yeast there is not going back. The yeast adds a lightness to them!

First you say baking powder then you say baking soda then ingredients go back to baking powder...which is it
RichandDelish
Sorry! I fixed it. It's baking powder.
