What you will need for this baked feta pasta on stovetop recipe:
Feta cheese- use a block of feta cheese. use your favorite brand of feta cheese.
Cherry tomatoes- use the best quality cherry tomatoes that you can find. Cherry grape tomatoes are extra flavorful, also cherry Roma tomatoes are very flavorful.
Cooked pasta- we used shell pasta in this recipe, but you can use any kind of pasta that you’d like.
Olive oil- we used extra virgin olive oil for this recipe.
Salt- we like to use kosher salt for this recipe.
Black pepper- for flavor.
Fresh basil- adding fresh basil makes this dish extra flavorful and it gives it a fresh aroma.
Dried oregano- we used dried oregano for this recipe.
Fresh garlic– use your favorite kind of fresh garlic.
If you like your pasta a little bit spicy, add ⅓ teaspoon of chili flakes.
How to make baked feta pasta on the stovetop:
1. Reheat a medium to large size pan to medium heat.
2. Pour in the cherry tomatoes, olive oil, salt, black pepper, and oregano.
3. Mix well with a wooden spoon and cook until the tomatoes are tender, stirring constantly. (about 15 minutes)4. Add the block of feta cheese, pour olive oil on top of the feta cheese, sprinkle dried oregano and chili flakes, and cook until the clock of feta softens.5. Break the feta with a wooden spoon and mix everything together.
6. Add minced garlic and mix well.
7. Add fresh basil and mix well.
8. Add the cooked pasta and mix well.

- 200 g Feta Cheese
- 500 g Cherry tomatoes
- ⅓ teaspoon Salt
- ⅓ teaspoon Black pepper

Just made this! I think the garlic should be added way earlier, when the tomatoes are 50% to 75% softened. Adding the garlic so close to the end didn't give it enough time to cook and mellow out, so it's overwhelming the other flavors in the dish. Serving with lots of parmesan, extra seasoning, and a splash of cream to dilute the flavor helps, but next time I'll just add the garlic earlier.
