If you like making drinks at home, you should make our sweet cream cold foam, dalgona whipped coffee, french hot chocolate, and our hot chocolate with cocoa powder.

    Why this recipe works

    • Takes only 5 minutes to make!
    • Fun to make on a sunny summery day!
    • Extra refreshing and is perfect when you are craving a refreshing drink.
    • Made with 4 simple ingredients.

Two cups of mango pineapple smoothie.

    Ingredients

Before you start to make this pineapple and mango smoothie recipe, measure and prepare your ingredients so the cooking process will go smoothly and efficiently.

Frozen mango- you can either freeze your own mango or use store-bought frozen mango. We mostly use store-bought frozen mangos. If you don't have mangos or don't like mangos, replace them with a cup of frozen bananas.

Frozen pineapple- pineapple is a great source of vitamin c, is loaded with antioxidants, and helps with digestion. It has many more health benefits

Milk- we used almond milk for this recipe. you can use any milk that you like best for this recipe.

Greek yogurt- yogurt will make your smoothie super creamy and is a great source of protein. Feel free to add more yogurt to make your smoothie higher in protein.

    Instructions

Peel and cut the mango and pineapple and cut them into small cubes. Place the cubes in a ziplock bag and freeze until ready to use.

Remove the frozen fruit from the freezer for about 10 minutes before making the smoothie. (if you use a high speed blender, you can use the fruit immediately)

Add the frozen mango, frozen pineapple, almond milk, and greek yogurt into the blender and start mixing on low.

    Expert tips

    • Adjust the sweetness of this drink by gradually adding your sweetener until you get a perfect balance. You can add honey, agave, or maple syrup!
    • If you like your smoothie less thick, replace the greek yogurt with orange juice or almond milk.
    • Using frozen fruit is best for making smoothies creamy and thick, and also prevents them from melting quickly.
    • Feel free to add more liquid to your smoothie to make it thinner.
    • Start blending on low speed and increase the speed to blend all the ingredients.

    Faq's

Can I replace the mangos with bananas?

Yes! If you don't have mangos or don't like mangos, you can make this smoothie into a pineapple banana smoothie. Replace the mangos with 1 cup of frozen bananas. The bananas will make this drink creamy and delish.

Can I skip the yogurt in this recipe?

Yes. If you don't want to use yogurt in this recipe, swap it with orange juice or with almond milk.

    How to store leftovers?

We highly recommend drinking this smoothie immediately, but if you want to store leftovers, pour the drink into mason jars and seal it tightly. This will last for up to a day in the fridge and can be consumed as a refreshing juice.

    Pour shot of smoothie.

    Variations

You can add many different ingredients to this pineapple mango smoothie drink. Here is our favorite:

    • Chia seeds- add a tablespoon of chia seeds to this drink to make it more nutritious. Chia seeds will add fiber and healthy fat to your drink.
    • Bananas- you can add a fresh banana or frozen banana into this smoothie to make it more creamy and add a delicious banana flavor!
    • Protein- you can add 1 scoop of your favorite protein powder or 1 tablespoon of your favorite nut butter like almond butter or peanut butter!
    • Spinach- adding spinach to your smoothies is a great way to add your greens into your diet.

    Substitutions

Dairy-free- feel free to make this drink dairy-free by replacing the greek yogurt with a plant-based yogurt.

    Equipment

    • High-speed blender- This blender is our favorite and we use it to make so many drinks, smoothies, and foods! All you will need to do is add all your ingredients into the blender and mix until the mixture is creamy! Add ice to glasses and pour!

    Freezing

If you would like to freeze this drink, there is a way that you can do so:

    • Make popsicles! If you have some leftover drinks left, make popsicles! Pour this mixture into popsicle molds and freeze! These are so fun and refreshing.

    More drink recipes:

Sweet cream cold brew- This sweet cream cold foam Starbucks copycat recipe is easier than you think and uses simple ingredients.

Dalgona whipped coffee- Dalgona coffee or whipped coffee is the drink that went crazy viral around the internet in the last few months.

French hot chocolate- This french hot chocolate is easy to make, silky, and rich in chocolate flavor. You will only need 10 minutes to make this Parisian-style hot chocolate and a few simple ingredients.

Hot chocolate with cocoa powder- This hot chocolate is the best hot chocolate that I ever had. Our hot chocolate is made with milk, cocoa powder, dark chocolate, vanilla extract, and sugar.
