Ingredients
Before you start to make this pineapple and mango smoothie recipe, measure and prepare your ingredients so the cooking process will go smoothly and efficiently.
Frozen mango- you can either freeze your own mango or use store-bought frozen mango. We mostly use store-bought frozen mangos. If you don't have mangos or don't like mangos, replace them with a cup of frozen bananas.
Frozen pineapple- pineapple is a great source of vitamin c, is loaded with antioxidants, and helps with digestion. It has many more health benefits
Milk- we used almond milk for this recipe. you can use any milk that you like best for this recipe.
Greek yogurt- yogurt will make your smoothie super creamy and is a great source of protein. Feel free to add more yogurt to make your smoothie higher in protein.
Instructions
Peel and cut the mango and pineapple and cut them into small cubes. Place the cubes in a ziplock bag and freeze until ready to use.
Remove the frozen fruit from the freezer for about 10 minutes before making the smoothie. (if you use a high speed blender, you can use the fruit immediately)
Add the frozen mango, frozen pineapple, almond milk, and greek yogurt into the blender and start mixing on low.
Increase the speed and blend until the smoothie blends perfectly. Feel free to add more liquid to make this less thick. Serve and enjoy!
